When is the 2019 QuasiTrad Tunes Camp?

Friday, November 1 from 4pm to Tuesday November 5, midday, 2019.

When will I know if my application to attend the event has been successful?

Acceptance Emails (Booking Confirmation Messages) are sent upon receipt of Registration Forms. For more information on the Registration process, please click here.

What are the event registration fees?

There is a tuition fee of $310 for the 5 days. Accommodation costs will vary according to the option chosen. Please refer to the Accommodation page. After registering, an invoice will be sent to you, with the tuition and accommodation costs.

When & how do I pay the event registration fees?

We encourage you to book early to ensure your spot at this limited capacity event is secured.

Your booking will be confirmed after payment has been received.

Is food provided?

All meals except for breakfast are provided and included in your accommodation cost. You will need food for breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday morning, brunch will be provided. There are 4 kitchens at the camp venue, all with full facilities to use. Milk, coffee and tea will be provided.

BYO alcohol in moderation.

I’m planning to come to the event by public transport – what are my options?

There is a bus service to the closest town, Deans Marsh. See the PTV website for details. https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au
It’s probably easier to car pool so get in contact with us and we’ll help you organise it!

Can children attend the event?

Yes, anyone under 18 is very welcome, though must be accompanied by an adult.

What is a typical day like?

What playing level is required for the event?

To really benefit from this weekend, we recommend you can already play a few tunes on your instrument and have the ability to learn by ear. No prior tune-writing experience is necessary, but a basic understanding of celtic music is recommended.

Who is responsible for my instrument?

Each attendee is responsible for their own instrument. We strongly recommend that your instrument be insured.

Can I attend only part of the event?

Day rates may be available if there are vacancies. Contact us to enquire.

I have specific dietary requirements – can these be catered for?

We will endeavour to cater to all individuals who have specific dietary requirements. Please list these dietary requirements in the spaces indicated on the registration form.

What is the cancellation policy?

All payments will be fully refunded prior to September 5, 2019.
After September 5, 2019, 50% of the booking will be refunded. All refunds are at the organisers’ discretion.
