Contradance is a hugely popular form of dancing, originally from New England. Once you try it, you’ll realise why! Add to the mix two superb musicians, David Boulanger (fiddle) and Simon Marion (guitar) from Quebec’s premier band, La Bottine Souriante and you know the night will be brilliant! David and Simon will also introduce you to a set or two of cool French Canadian dances. No partner or experience necessary.
With guest musicians, David Boulanger and Simon Marion (Quebec), and guest dance callers, Jeanette Mill (Canberra), Kirsty Greenwood (Melbourne), and the irrepressible David Boulanger (Quebec)!
Free beginners’ lesson at 7:30pm!
